Tournament
of Warriors (Bps)
1-Each ward dressing up their bishop and presenting him in some
creative skit like way.
each bishop represents a scriptural
warrior and comes dressed in a manner that represents that particular
person/prophet. He describes that person ), 100 points- then speaks (briefly)
about what this warrior did that applies to the young women today---he can use
his own armor as "props" to describe things. He could be his own
visual aid. These wonderful men have so much experience, love, concern, and wisdom,
that I think it would be a powerful "fireside" to listen to them talk
about how to be a warrior--a strong female warrior--in today's age.

BALL Trophy
Each ward will dress up their Bishop for the contest.
YW and ward leaders will bring them their Warrior outfit
to be judged!
Each Bp-Warrior and President Stedman will choose out of
a hat their impartial judge #1-9 and get that many points
Use stake presidency and others that can addJ
THEN... Let the games begin.
Top Model
YOUR judge will
give points for Bishops costume
20 pts head gear
50 pts –outfit
50 pts- modeling abilities!
50 points for modesty
Singing Bee
Each Bp is given a random Childrens Hymn to sing from memory,( Luck of the
draw)
All Bps will sing together diff songs at the same
time.
Judge will give points for each word sung correctly.
Judge can underline right words sung then count them up for points
Songs we may use:
( Once there was a snow man, in the leafy tree top, little purple
pansies, Im all made of hinges, hello hello, daddy’s homecoming, the golden
plates, I hope they call me on a mission)
Survivor
Jump Rope
Each bp will jump rope for 30 secs and get a point for
each successful jump
Man vs Food
Ice cream sandwich eating race. … 10 pts for each one eaten in 1 min
Redneck Island
Log throw- Bp gets
points for each foot or inch the log is
thrown…OR horse shoe?
Wipe out
A fair game of musical chairs 40 pts to winner, and 35 to
7th place, 30 to 6th, etc
Minute to win
it!
Ping pong ball game. Points for balls caught in fanny
pack.
Who wants to be
a millionaire?
Mental game of facts. Look at plate of things and get 10 points for
each item you remember?
American
Gladiator
Shoot arrow and get the bulls eye for points
Good Morning Bishop,
Your camp director attended
a Girls Camp planning meeting last Thursday.
She will be asking for
the Bishops ( or the counselor you send to camp) to Dress up as a scriptural
warrior at camp ( the girls will help you take care of the costume).
They would like you to
come to the "tournament of warriors" on Friday ( stating at 2pm)
dressed in manner that represents that particular person/prophet and describe
that person- then speak (briefly) about what this warrior did that
applies to the young women today----prior to the tournament
Remember our camp theme
is BRAVE - Be Righteous And Virtuous Everyday
They would like every
Bishop to represent a different warrior and they have asked that we turn
in our "warrior" ASAP .
think about it and get
back to your camp director so they can turn your warrior in and hopefully get
your first choice!
